Madison County Alerts - Code red

The City of Fredericktown and Madison County have partnered to offer citizens a powerful new notification system named Madison County Alerts. This service is powered by Onsolve's CodeRed which is a public messaging system that enables public entities to quickly send emergency alerts and general messages to citizens that are signed up. This system is versatile and allows members of the community to receive alerts by multiple methods including, text messages, email, phone calls, and via the CodeRed mobile app. The system is free for users and will be a great way to stay informed. Madison County Alerts Key points

  • The address for the Madison County Alerts portal is: https://accountportal.onsolve.net/madisoncountymo
  • An email address is required to complete the registration process.

  • Entering your address is important to receive accurate alerts that are based on location such as boil water orders or evacuation orders. You also have the option to add additional addresses other than your home address. I.e. adding your workplace address to your account. This will allow you to receive location based alerts while at work. 
  • The devices section of your user portal is where you will add the different methods you wish to receive alerts. You can add multiple "devices" such as multiple email addresses, a phone number for SMS messages, and a phone number to receive a voice message. 
  • Be sure to select and save what severe weather alerts you would like to receive. The option to receive weather alerts is independent of other emergency or non emergency messages that will be sent out.
  • Emergency and non emergency messages that you may receive include; road closures, power outage information, boil water orders, evacuation or shelter in place orders, community notices, and severe weather alerts. 
  • This service is free to the community! Encourage your friends, family, and neighbors in Madison County, MO to sign up.
  • Make sure to save your created login credentials. You will be able to login to the Madison County Alerts portal to update your information at any time. This may consist of updating your address, phone number, or email address.
  • CodeRed has a mobile app available for Android and IOS users. This app is setup independently of the Madison County Alerts portal. After downloading the app from your respective app store create an account in the app. You may use the same credentials you created for the Madison County Alerts portal.
