We are an all volunteer department with 19 members covering a 10 square mile area averaging 150 calls per year and founded November 4th 1926. 

The Fredericktown Fire Department caters to the city's fire protection with a 1985 rescue vehicle , 1986 pumper, 1991 aerial truck, 1986 brush unit and our newest, a 2010 pumper. 

Operating out of one station, the department has an ISO rating of four (4) within the city limits. We also provide services to Cobalt Village, Village Creek, Junction City, Catherine Place, along with the area of 72 east to J hwy, Hwy OO north to County Road 220 and parts of 67 South. We are an all service department providing all ares of public service working along with the Fredericktown Police Department, Madison County EMS and city utility workers. Most of the department is Missouri Firefighter I & II certified and our goal is to have all certified. We have individuals with EMT and paramedic training, first responder, and WMD and numerous other training certificates. 

We participate in fire prevention week with the K - 2nd grade school kids along with various events throughout town.

We are an active member for MDA with a boot drive around Labor Day.
